The EAC Annual user group Meeting brings together a unique and diverse blend of national and international users of the Onity Integra electronic locking system. The Education Attendees bring to the meeting a level of dedication to the development of Onity's product line, support for other users, and commitment to the future direction of Onity.
The EAC fosters a relationship between Onity and its customers purposed to continually improve Onity as a company and grow to better meet the needs of users.
EAC originated as the Education Advisory Council, which was a small group of Onity Integra electronic locking system users who came together in an annual meeting to share their feedback, suggestions and product ideas with Onity management. Today, EAC has evolved into a larger blend of Onity system users and potential users who are invited to an annual Onity User Group Meeting.
Representatives from various departments, such as Housing, One Card, Facilities, Campus Safety/Security, Information Technology, Administrative, and Lockshops are invited in order to gain different perspectives and ideas from various uses of our products.
In 2002, Onity and several of its Education customers envisioned creating a community purposed to establish and maintain a proactive, two-way communication link, giving customers—and potential customers a “voice.” The overall purpose of this advisory user group meeting is to establish and maintain an effective communication link between Onity and its clients and potential clients in order to focus and implement user interests. The idea of a gathering—an annual meeting—was suggested to give those responsible for purchasing decisions and facility maintenance at colleges, universities, school districts, and other government entities an opportunity to have one-on-one time with Onity leaders, voice product and service concerns, be part of a community with their peers, and play an integral role in Onity's product and organizational development.
Onity is committed to supporting and serving the Education Market. We depend on the EAC with their feedback and input of ideas on new products and services, and we are dedicated to listening to what the customer wants.
